Here is how to play the main slap bass line for Larry Graham’s Pow from the Graham Central Station album “My radio sure sounds good to me” from 1974. This is one of the slap bass lines that made Larry Graham famous. It is a very hard line to play at the original tempo, even after practising it for quite a bit I still cannot play it flawlessly at that speed as you can see in the video… Image Larry Graham is playing this bassline and singing and dancing at the same time.. My hat’s off to the man!
